Questions & answers
The questions homeowners actually ask.
The questions Raleigh homeowners actually ask us, in the order they tend to ask them — from "is this a job for you?" through to "where do you work and when can you start?"
Stage
Before you decide
What kind of remodeling do you take on?
Six main things: kitchen remodeling; bathroom remodeling; home additions and ADUs; deck and porch builds; basement finishing and mancaves; and whole-house remodels. We work across Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Knightdale, Garner, Clayton and the wider Triangle.
Do you offer a design before I commit?
Yes — kitchen remodels start with a 3D design consultation so you can see the layout, cabinetry, counters and finishes before demolition. We'd rather you picture the finished room and sign off on it than guess on site.
Do you handle the whole project, or just part of it?
The whole thing. Rusty's crew handles demolition, framing, cabinetry, tile, flooring, plumbing and electrical, and finishing — coordinated under one name. That's why our reviews describe the process as high-quality and above and beyond, rather than juggled across separate contractors.

Who does the work
Who will be running my project?
Rusty Salimov, who owns the company, oversees each project personally — the first walkthrough, the plan, the build and the final walk-through — with his crew. Clients describe them as "a pleasure to work with," "responsive and informative," and "super friendly and professional."
Are you licensed, insured and reputable?
Yes — we're a licensed, insured remodeler, and Red's Remodeling of Raleigh holds an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau, the top of their scale. It's independent accountability behind our 4.7-star Google reviews.

How a project runs
Will I be kept in the loop during the remodel?
Yes — it's one of the things clients single out. As Brianna wrote, the crew was "responsive and informative when we had questions," and Shea noted "quick responses." You're told the plan up front and kept updated as the work moves.
Can you fit us in, and is your work reasonably priced?
We do our best to fit projects into the schedule — one client wrote that we "were able to squeeze us into their schedule and started right away." And on price, another put it simply: "high-quality work and reasonably priced." The best way to get specifics is a free walkthrough and estimate.

Areas & getting started
Which areas do you cover?
We're a Raleigh company and cover the greater RDU area — Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Knightdale, Garner, Clayton and Wake Forest among them, plus Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina and Wendell further out. If you're nearby and not listed, just ask.
What are your hours, and how do I get started?
We're reachable Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 7:00pm, with weekends by appointment. The best way to start is to call Rusty at (919) 626-9020 or send a few details, and he'll arrange to come take a look and give you a free estimate.
Still have a question?
Ask Rusty directly — there's no charge for a chat or a walkthrough.
